Vegan Society
The Vegan Trademark is registered in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and India and used worldwide on over +60,000 products (2022). It represents the international standard for authentic vegan products. Quite simply, the Vegan Trademark is a beacon for attracting vegan consumers, their families and friends. The sunflower logo can be found on food and drink, beauty products, toiletries, cleaning products and services.
Products that hold the Trademark ensure that the manufacture and/or development of the product, and where applicable its ingredients, must not involve, or have involved, the use of any animal product, by-product or derivative. And the manufacture and/or development of the product, and where applicable its ingredients, must not involve, or have involved, the use of any animal product, by-product or derivative.
The Vegan Society understands the word ‘animal’ to refer to the entire animal kingdom, that is all vertebrates and all multicellular invertebrates.
The vast majority of ZENZ Organic Products are vegan and based on vegetable ingredients.

WE HAVE CHOSEN VEGAN SUNFLOWER LABEL BECAUSE:
The global market is demanding vegan products. ZENZ Organic vegan products can obtain the sunflower logo without changing the formula/ingredients. However, some ZENZ styling products contain animal-derived ingredients and are not vegan. These ingredients (see table below) are of natural origin and by-products. For example, beeswax is a by-product of honey production, lanolin is a by-product of wool production. We use a waste product that is derived from a production process.
